The ABI Case Management team
At ABI Case Management we believe input and involvement from all our stakeholders can contribute to the identification and facilitation of goals for our clients, which supports our ethos of adopting a holistic and client-centred approach to care planning and the rehabilitation process.

Matthew has worked in the field of brain injury rehabilitation since 1996 in a number of senior roles, firstly at one of the leading rehabilitation providers in the UK and, since 2014 as a Professional Case Manager. In this time he has effectively managed well in excess of 100 community rehabilitation programmes for individuals with acquired brain injury.

Ann has over 30 years working in neuro-rehabilitation and specialises in the management, support and supervision of staff who deliver support and therapy to our clients.
Ann is a co-director at ABI Case Management Ltd and is the company Administrator – she is responsible for supporting all our staff, employees and stakeholders and making sure the company run’s like a well-oiled machine, is effective and in-line with CQC guidance, government legislation and good practice.

Katie has worked in brain injury rehabilitation since 2019 and has experience with both paediatric and adult support and also in co-ordinating client and support programmes. Katie works alongside our Case Management Team offering invaluable assistance to the client and support teams, maximising client opportunities in the community and helping them to achieve their personal goals.
Katie is registered with the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM)

Sarah has recently achieved her masters degree in Occupational Therapy and has worked in Neuro-rehabilitation since 2010 in a variety of roles and settings – ranging from in-patient rehabilitation to providing specialist case management in the community. With a wealth of ABI experience as a specialist case manager Sarah is involved in completing detailed assessments and comprehensive case management plans working collaboratively with her clients, their families and support network to maximise their recovery and achieve their personal goals.
Sarah is also a ‘Certified Brain Injury Specialist’ with the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS) and is also a member of the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM).

Lucia is a skilled and compassionate Case Manager with nearly two decades of clinical experience spanning community crisis response and rehabilitation, acute hospital care, private practice, and case management.
Known for her pragmatic, person-centred approach, Lucia creates tailored rehabilitation and care plans that restore independence, improve wellbeing, and empower individuals to move forward with confidence. She combines comprehensive clinical insight with exceptional problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a strong commitment to best practice.

Emma has extensive experience in the field of Neuro / Brain Injury Rehabilitation, having worked in this sector, in a variety of Supervisory and Managerial roles, since 2013.
During this time Emma has worked across the diverse areas of both residential and community rehabilitation, supporting and facilitating in excess of 50 individual programmes for survivors of traumatic brain injury through their own personal rehabilitation journey.
Her experiences to date, have allowed her to acquire, develop and adapt an excellent toolkit of skills and knowledge to call upon that lends itself well to providing quality levels of bespoke support to each individual case and package of care.

Steph has worked in a supporting role with people with neurological conditions for over 20 years in various settings including community, rehabilitation settings and secure services developing person centred behavioural support plans to enhance individuals quality of life and ensure they are supported in the best ways.
Steph works alongside registered case managers to provide bespoke support to clients and their families in a holistic way to maximise opportunity and support individuals to achieve long and short term goals.
Steph is registered with the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM).

Claire has wealth of experience in a wide range of clinical settings, including Critical Care (Intensive Care Unit, High Dependency and Coronary Care), Acute Medical Units, GP Assessment, Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism Clinics, Nursing Management, PIP Assessments for the DWP and as a Forensic Nurse Practitioner within custody settings with the Police. She has developed a particular interest in Neurological practice, having worked with clients / patients with brain injuries since 2003 – in particular working in a number of senior roles, in Hospitals in both Australia and in the UK.
Claire has worked in the role of a Professional Case Manager since 2018 – In this time, Claire has effectively managed both Adult and Paediatric Community Rehabilitation Programmes for individuals with acquired brain injury and other complex injuries. Her experience has afforded her exposure to working across the support spectrum of brain and complex injury, from custody settings, neuro-behavioural assessment, community preparation, supported community living and domiciliary programmes.

Jess provides administration support to all the Case Managers and clients at ABI Case Management and is often the first-person visitors, clients, professionals get to speak to when making contact with us.
Jess is committed to her own development and is currently undertaking ‘train the trainer’ courses to enable her to deliver important in-service training to our staff and support teams. Jess is also our ‘Compliance Assistant’ and works closely with our CQC Registered Manager to ensure the companies operational practise is maximised and in line with current legislation and good practice guidelines.
